We are currently looking for event dates for the 2011-12 season. If you know of any please have the race organizer contact us to as soon as they have a firm date.

“The Great Snowshoe Race”

Course will be a 5k and 8k “hero course”. Single track, wide groomed trails, and plenty of climbing. The course will race on the historic Rowe’s Ridge. Start will be at the bottom of the 70 meter ski jump.

Cost $25 per racer. 10:00 am start.

Join us for the first annual Tanglewood 5k Snowshoe Race on Saturday, February 18, at 1pm at Tanglewood 4-H Camp and Learning Center off Ducktrap Road in Lincolnville. The event is a fundraiser for restoration of the original historic fieldstone fireplace and chimney in our main lodge.

Darts Lake Dash Snow Guarantee: YMCA Camp Gorham is so confident that our trails will have adequate snow to snowshoe on for our Darts Lake Dash 5K and 10K snowshoe races on January 28 and 29, 2012, that it makes the following promise: if you register for either or both races before midnight on Friday January 20, and for some reason there isn’t enough snow on the 28^th and/or 29^th to run on snowshoes (in which case we’ll have a trail race), then we’ll provide you a voucher waiving your entry fee for the same race(s) next year.
